چکیده

The use of tangible interfaces in teaching has been proved more effective, user -friendly and helpful collaborative learning departments, when compared to traditional approaches. In particular, the interface “Makey Makey” is a modern tool that enhances collaboration between pupils, with positive results education, despite limited research done on this so far. succeeds motivating engaging young learners process, showing better performance scoring results. addition, its shown benefit process every age group. The development such an innovative teaching/learning approach helps perceive educational different way assimilate new cognitive fields effectively. Defining Domain Language of Graphical User Interfaces

Domain-specific languages are computer (programming, modeling, specification) languages devoted to solving problems in a specific domain. The least examined DSL development phases are analysis and design. Various formal methodologies exist, however domain analysis is still done informally most of the time. There are also methodologies of deriving DSLs from existing ontologies but the presumptio...

Tangible User Interfaces

Where the sea meets the land, life has blossomed into a myriad of unique forms in the turbulence of water, sand, and wind. At another seashore between the land of atoms and the sea of bits, we are now facing the challenge of reconciling our dual citizenships in the physical and digital worlds. Our visual and auditory sense organs are steeped in the sea of digital information, but our bodies rem...

Composing graphical user interfaces in a purely functional language

This thesis is about building interactive graphical user interfaces in a compositional manner. Graphical user interface applications hold out the promise of providing users with an interactive, graphical medium by which they can carry out tasks more eeectively and conveniently. The application aids the user to solve some task. Conceptually, the user is in charge of the graphical medium, control...

Generating a language-independent graphical user interfaces from UML models

The cost of the software development is high and there is a need to automate parts or all activities of the software development to reduce the development costs. In this work, the User Interface (UI) design is automated and UIs are generated for language-independent code from Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams. These diagrams are used to generate both the content of the UIs and the naviga...

A Semantic Description Language for Platform-Independent Graphical User Interfaces

Graphical user interface toolkits exhibit striking similarities in functionality and visual appearance. Yet, each one demands adherence to its proprietary implementation interface from the application developer. Platform-independent solutions exist, but their perceived drawbacks hinder large-scale adaption. This thesis provides a new perspective by complementing platform abstraction with other ...
