As such, there potential for simulation-based training to play an important role skill acquisition. This study provides systematic assessment current literature regarding use simulation improve transplantation. Data were collected by performing electronic search PubMed and Scopus database articles describing transplant surgery. The abstracts screened using preferred reporting items reviews meta-analysis (PRISMA) guidelines. Three reviewers analyzed 172 agreed upon that met inclusion criteria review. Simulators can be categorized into virtual reality simulators, cadaveric models, animal models (animate or inanimate) synthetic physical models. No simulators are described literature. seven eight specific described. Trauma resuscitation is a complex situation, and most organisations have multi-professional trauma teams. Non-technical skills are challenged during trauma resuscitation, and they play an important role in the prevention of critical incidents. Simulation-based training of these is recommended. Our research question was: Does simulation-based trauma team training of non-technical skills have eff...

Adverse events in surgery have highlighted the importance of non-technical skills, such as communication, decision-making, teamwork, situational awareness and leadership, to effective organizational performance. These skills carry particular importance to surgical oncology, as members of a multidisciplinary team must work cohesively to formulate effective patient care plans. Several non-technic...

BACKGROUND Both technical skills (TS) and non-technical skills (NTS) are key to ensuring patient safety in acute care practice and effective crisis management. These skills are often taught and assessed separately. We hypothesized that TS and NTS are not independent of each other, and we aimed to evaluate the relationship between TS and NTS during a simulated intraoperative crisis scenario. M...
