چکیده
Cone penetration testing (CPT) is an extensively utilized and cost effective tool for geotechnical site characterization. CPT consists of pushing at a constant rate electronic cone into penetrable soils recording the resistance to tip (qc value). The measured qc values (after correction pore water pressure) are estimate soil type associated properties based predominantly on empirical correlations. most common tips have areas 10 cm2 15 cm2. Investigators also significantly larger (33 40 cm2) so that gravelly can be penetrated. Extensive work has been carried out mathematically modelling function blurred measurements. This paper outlines technique facilitates estimating dominant parameters from processing real data sets. calibration referred as so-called CPSPE algorithm. mathematical details algorithm outlined this along with challenging test bed simulation.

A Smoothing Technique for the Minimum Norm Solution of Absolute Value Equation
One of the issues that has been considered by the researchers in terms of theory and practice is the problem of finding minimum norm solution. In fact, in general, absolute value equation may have infinitely many solutions. In such cases, the best and most natural choice is the solution with the minimum norm. In this paper, the minimum norm-1 solution of absolute value equation is investigated. ...
متن کاملA Statistical Approach for Estimating Language Model Reliability with Effective Smoothing Technique
Language Model smoothing is an imperative technology which deals with unseen test data by re-evaluating some zero-probability n-grams and assign them bare minimum non-zero values. There is an assortment of smoothing techniques employed to trim down tiny amount of probability from the probable grams and share out to zero probable grams within a Language Model. Kneser Ney and Latent Dirichlet All...
متن کاملA new technique for bearing fault detection in the time-frequency domain
This paper presents a new Fast Kurtogram Method in the time-frequency domain using novel types of statistical features instead of the kurtosis. For this study, the problem of four classes for Bearing Fault Detection is investigated using various statistical features. This research is conducted in four stages. At first, the stability of each feature for each fault mode is investigated. Then, res...
متن کاملReference Priors for Shrinkage and Smoothing Parameters
A reference prior and corresponding reference posteriors are derived for a basic Normal variance components model with two components. Di¤erent parameterizations are considered, in particular one in terms of a shrinkage or smoothing parameter. Earlier results for the one-way ANOVA setting are generalized and a broad range of applications of the general results is indicated. Numerical examples o...
متن کاملA Parallel Smoothing Technique for Parabolic Problems
A method is examined to approximate the interface conditions for Chebyshev polynomial approximations to the solutions of parabolic problems, and a smoothing technique is used to calculate the interface conditions for a domain decomposition method. The method uses a polynomial of one less degree than the full approximation to calculate the rst derivative so that interface values can be calculate...
