Temperature and electric field distribution of tri‐post insulator in DC‐GIL based on numerical multiphysics modelling

چکیده

The temperature distribution of the tri-post insulator in a ±500 kV direct current gas-insulated transmission lines (DC-GIL) is investigated. influence thermal gradient on electric field characteristics investigated as well. A horizontally installed GIL model applied simulation. and parameters are measured employed. results indicate that gas shows layered pattern while radial pattern. upper post higher. With increasing ambient temperature, surface increases linearly following variation temperature. load current, near conductor an obvious increase. pressure, decreases due to promotion convection. Besides, strength if during operating conditions. And peak moves towards enclosure. After 10 h, reaches quasi-stationary state. Since affects density insulator, investigation necessary when evaluating insulating performance DC-GIL with insulators.
