Temperature Modeling of AZ31B Alloy Plate during open-Roller Conveying Process Considering Air-Cooling Characteristics

In the process of open-roller conveying, magnesium alloy plates easily produce temperature drops and uneven temperatures. Ignoring heat dissipation caused by contact between plate roller table, can be described as a air cooling. The present study aimed to investigate distribution evolution during process. air-cooling AZ31B was investigated analyzed in detail under different initial temperatures thicknesses, with specific focus on along both width thickness directions. results show that temperature-difference curves end face center conditions appeared have four stages: rapid increase, slow basic stable decline. To facilitate establishment model, whole approximately divided into two independent one-dimensional heat-conduction processes direction direction. Subsequently, steady-state models were developed various directions, based fundamental principles transfer assuming adjacent temperature-drop layer satisfied quadratic function distribution. Through superposition cooling time at positions solved accurately.
