Temporal variability of crustacean parasites of fish and its importance for coastal resource management to anthropogenic climate change

This paper reviews the information available over last 20 years on studies of temporal variability parasitic infections caused by crustaceans fish in Mexican territory. The possible responses these to changes aquatic ecosystems anthropogenic climate change are described. By studying intensity infection Argulus yucatanus (a case study parasite fish), response water temperature can be detected. Into this context and based previous investigations reviewed, it is highlighted importance monitoring for long-time behavior parasites. Also, indicated that represent a good model as bioindicators environmental because they direct contact or exposed hazardous substances environment. Extensive precise data biodiversity along with their ecological experimental necessary understand face change.
