Tensor Velocity Imaging With Motion Correction

This article presents a motion compensation procedure that significantly improves the accuracy of synthetic aperture tensor velocity estimates for row-column arrays. The proposed scheme reduces effects by moving image coordinates with field during summation low-resolution volumes. is estimated using transverse oscillation cross-correlation estimator, and each coordinate's local determined upsampling spline interpolation. validated Field II simulations flow measurements acquired 3-MHz addressed probe research scanner SARUS. For peak 25 cm/s, pulse repetition frequency 2 kHz, beam-to-flow angle 60°, was able to reduce relative bias from -27.0% -9.4% standard deviation 8.6% 8.1%. In performed 10 method in all cases angles 60° 75° velocities between 150 cm/s.
