چکیده

This study aimed to synthesize Fe3O4@Methylcellulose/3-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (Fe3O4@MC/APTMS) as a new magnetic nano-biocomposite by facile, fast, and microwave-assisted method be utilized an adsorbent for tetracycline (TC) removal from aqueous solutions. Fe3O4@MC/APTMS was characterized Fourier transform-infrared (FTIR), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), Mapping, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The point of zero charge (pHzpc) value the estimated 6.8 solid addition method. Optimum conditions were obtained in TC concentration: 10 mg L?1, dosage: 80 contact time: 90 min, solution pH 6 with maximum 90% 65.41% synthetic actual samples, respectively. kinetic isotherm equations pointed pseudo-second order Langmuir optimum fitting models. Based on values entropy changes (?S) (50.04 J/mol k), enthalpy (?H) (9.26 kJ/mol), negative Gibbs free energy (?G), adsorption process endothermic, random, spontaneous. synthesized exhibited outstanding properties, including proper efficiency TC, excellent reusability, simple separation media magnet. Consequently, it is highly desirable that could used promising

Investigation of Fluoride Adsorption from Aaqueous Solutions by Modified Eucalyptus Leaves: Isotherm and Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies

Background and purpose: The World Health Organization (WHO) has specified the tolerance limit of fluoride content of drinking water to be 1.5 mg/L, since excessive intake of fluoride leads to various detrimental diseases. The present study assessed the adsorption effectiveness of HCl-modified eucalyptus leaves in fluoride removal from synthetic solutions. Materials and Methods: In this experim...

Adsorption Isotherm, Kinetic, and Thermodynamic Studies for Methylene Blue from Aqueous Solution by Needles of Pinus Sylvestris L

The adsorption characteristics of methylene blue (MB) onto needles of Pinus sylvestris L., an unconventional bio-adsorbent, were investigated. Maximum removal of MB was found to occur at initial pH 5. Adsorption capacity increased from 84.46 to 99.73 mg/g with an increase in temperature from 20 to 45°C at 200 mg/L of initial MB concentration. Adsorption isotherms were modeled with the Langmuir,...

Adsorption of Malachite Green from Aqueous Solution using Activated Ntezi Clay: Optimization, Isotherm and Kinetic Studies

The adsorption of malachite green from aqueous solution using a local low cost adsorbent, acid activated Ntezi clay, was investigated. The low cost adsorbent was activated with different concentrations of sulphuric acid and the physicochemical properties of the adsorbent were determined and the structural properties were analyzed using XRF and XRD. The adsorption process was studied as a functi...
