Investigation of light and heavy tetraquark candidates using lattice QCD
We review the status of an ongoing long-term lattice investigation of the spectrum and structure of tetraquark candidates. We focus on the light scalar meson a0(980). First steps regarding the study of a possibly existing ccc̄c̄ tetraquark are also outlined.
متن کاملLight-front heavy-quark effective theory and heavy-meson bound states.
The heavy quark effective theory is developed on the light-front. Based on this effective theory, a light-front heavy meson bound state with definite spin and parity is constructed. Within the effective theory, the Isgur-Wise function is derived in terms of the asymptotic light-front bound state amplitudes in the limit mQ → ∞; the result is a general expression for arbitrary recoil velocities. ...
متن کاملSemi-leptonic decays heavy-light to heavy-light
We present results for the QCD matrix elements involved in semi-leptonic decays of B-mesons into pseudo scalar heavy light states. The application of NRQCD heavy quarks allows for quark masses around the physical b-quark. We investigate the dependence of the form factors on the external momenta and looked at the mass dependence at zero recoil. For the first time, results for radially excited de...
متن کاملDecoupling of heavy-quark loops in light-light and heavy-light quark currents
Matching of light-light quark currents in QCD with a heavy flavour and in the lowenergy effective QCD is calculated in MS at two loops. Heavy-light HQET currents are similarly considered. Consider QCD with nl light flavours and a single heavy one having mass M . Processes involving only light fields with momenta pi ≪ M can be described by an effective field theory — QCD with nl flavours plus 1/...
