The Beurling-Lax-Halmos theorem for infinite multiplicity

چکیده

In this paper, we consider several questions emerging from the Beurling-Lax-Halmos Theorem, which characterizes shift-invariant subspaces of vector-valued Hardy spaces. The Theorem states that a backward subspace is model space $\mathcal{H}(\Delta) \equiv H_E^2 \ominus \Delta H_{E}^2$, for some inner function $\Delta$. Our first question calls description set $F$ in $H_E^2$ such $\mathcal{H}(\Delta)=E_F^*$, where $E_F^*$ denotes smallest containing $F$. our pursuit general solution to question, are naturally led take into account canonical decomposition operator-valued strong $L^2$-functions. Next, ask: Is every kernel (possibly unbounded) Hankel operator? As know, operator shift-invariant, so above equivalent seeking equation $\ker H_{\Phi}^*=\Delta H_{E^{\prime}}^2$, $\Delta$ an satisfying $\Delta^* \Delta=I_{E^{\prime}}$ almost everywhere on unit circle $\mathbb{T}$ and $H_{\Phi}$ with symbol $\Phi$. Consideration structure leads us study coin new notion "Beurling degree" function. We then establish deep connection between spectral multiplicity Beurling degree corresponding characteristic At same time, meromorphic pseudo-continuations bounded type functions, use operators (truncated shifts) separable complex Hilbert particular, multiplicity-free case.

On the Beurling–Lax theorem for domains with one hole

We consider pure subnormal operators T of the type studied in Carlsson, 2011, with the additional requirement that σ(T ) has one hole. If ind (T − λ0) = −n for some λ0 and n ∈ N, we show that the operator can be decomposed as T = ⊕k=1Tk, where each Tk satisfies ind (T − λ0) = −1, thus extending the classical Beurling–Lax theorem (in which σ(T ) is the unit disc). We also provide a set of unitar...

Hyperfiniteness and the Halmos-rohlin Theorem for Nonsingular Abelian Actions1

Theorem 1. Let the countable abelian group G act nonsingularly and aperiodically on Lebesgue space (X, p.). Then for each finite subset A c G and e > 0 3 finite B c G and F tz X with [bF: bEB} disjoint and PKfl meAB a)F] > 1-e. Theorem 2. Every nonsingular action of a countable abelian group on a Lebesgue space is hyperfinite.

New aspects of Beurling-Lax shift invariant subspaces

In terms of forward and backward shift invariant subspaces, we characterize functions in Hardy spaces, or, analytic signals in the terminology of signal analysis, through multiplications between analytic and conjugate analytic signals. As applications, we give some necessary and sufficient conditions for solutions of the Bedrosian equation HðfgÞ 1⁄4 f ðHgÞwhen f or g is a bandlimited signal. We...

The Multiplicity-polar Theorem

The heart of intersection theory resides in the following situation. Given a purely d-dimensional analytic set X, and subsets V and W intersecting at a point x ∈ X, V and W given by i and j equations respectively where i + j = d, then the correct number of times to count x is the multiplicity of the ideal I in the local ring of X at x, where I is the ideal generated by the equations of V and W....

Kernel Theorem for the Space of Beurling - Komatsu Tempered Ultradistibutions

We give a simple proof of the Kernel theorem for the space of tempered ultradistributions of Beurling Komatsu type, using the characterization of Fourier-Hermite coefficients of the elements of the space. We prove in details that the test space of tempered ultradistributions of Beurling Komatsu type can be identified with the space of sequences of ultrapolynomal falloff and its dual space with ...
