چکیده
In this paper an overview of some recent developments on the classical limit and spontaneous symmetry breaking (SSB) in algebraic quantum theory is given. such works, based C∗-algebras, concept has been formalized a complete manner. Additionally, since setting allows for commutative as well non-commutative hence theories, it provides excellent framework to study SBB emergent phenomenon when transitioning from world by turning off semi-classical parameter. We summarize main results show that approach sheds new light connection between realm, where particular emphasis placed role SSB Theory versus Nature. To end detailed analysis carried out illustrated with three different physical models: Schrödinger operators, mean-field spin systems Bose–Hubbard model.

Tunneling in quantum field theory with spontaneous symmetry breaking
Tunneling in quantum field theory is well understood in the case of a single scalar field. However, in theories with spontaneous symmetry breaking, one has to take into account the additional zero modes which appear due to the Goldstone phenomenon. We calculate the false vacuum decay rate in this case. The result may differ significantly from the tunneling rates in the absence of symmetry break...
متن کاملSpontaneous symmetry breaking in quantum mechanics
We present a mathematically simple procedure to explain spontaneous symmetry breaking in quantum systems. The procedure is applicable to a wide range of models and can be easily used to explain the existence of a symmetry broken state in crystals, antiferromagnets, and even superconductors. It has the advantage that it automatically brings to the fore the main players in spontaneous symmetry br...
