چکیده
Osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee joint, most common form arthritis, is gradual degeneration joint cartilage. A progression OA characterized by degradation and articular cartilage with subchondral bone remodeling, osteophyte formation inflammation leading to bone-on-bone contact causing pain, stiffness, functional difficulties disability. affects patient’s quality life creates a significant financial burden on health care system. This retrospective study collected data from patients who received autologous MSCs injections marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) and/or micro-fragmented adipose tissue (MFAT). Data patient-reported outcomes (PROs) were pre-treatment at post-treatment follow-ups correspondences. Surveys distributed included Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Knee Injury Outcome Score for Joint Replacement (KOOS, JR), patient satisfaction survey. Out 151 that met clinical criteria, 103 (159 knees) had appropriate follow up data. Of patients, 25 arthroscopy prior stem cell injection. 63 platelet-rich plasma (PRP) within 12 months five conversion Total Arthroplasty (TKA). BMAC, MFAT graft, BMAC graft groups showed improvement in both VAS KOOS, JR between baseline 3,6,12, 24 (p<0.00001). Among only KL grade breakdown scores across all grades (2-4).

The Healing Effect of Bone Marrow-Derived Stem Cells in Knee Osteoarthritis: A Case Report
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a prevalent chronic disease impacting on quality of life and has societal and economical burden increasing with age. Yet, no confirmed pharmacological, biological or surgical therapy could prevent the progressive destruction of OA joint. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) with immunosuppressive activities emerged a potential therapy. We describe a magnetic resonance images (MR...
متن کاملOsteogenic Differentiation of Rat Mesenchymal Stem Cells from Adipose Tissue in Comparison with Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells: Melatonin As a Differentiation Factor
Background: Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSC) could be an appealing alternative to bone marrow stem cells (BMSC) for engineering cell-based osteoinductive grafts. Meanwhile, prior studies have demonstrated that melatonin can stimulate osteogenic differentiation. Therefore, we assayed and compared the melatonin effect on osteogenic differentiation of BMSC with that of ADSC. Methods: Mesenchymal...

Efficacy of Autologous Bone Marrow Concentrate for Knee Osteoarthritis with and without Adipose Graft
INTRODUCTION We investigated the use of autologous bone marrow concentrate (BMC) with and without an adipose graft, for treatment of knee osteoarthritis (OA). METHODS Treatment registry data for patients who underwent BMC procedures with and without an adipose graft were analyzed. Pre- and posttreatment outcomes of interest included the lower extremity functional scale (LEFS), the numerical p...

This clinical case series demonstrates that percutaneous injections of autologous adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ADSCs) and homogenized extracellular matrix (ECM) in the form of adipose stromal vascular fraction (SVF), along with hyaluronic acid (HA) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) activated by calcium chloride, could regenerate cartilage-like tissue in human knee osteoarthritis (OA) patient...
