چکیده
The M dwarf Proxima~Centauri is known to be magnetically active and it hosts a likely Earth-like planet in its habitable zone. Understanding the characteristics of stellar radiation by understanding properties emitting plasma paramount importance for proper assessment conditions on Proxima~Centauri~b exoplanets around dwarfs general. We determine temperature structure coronal transition region Proxima Centauri from simultaneous X-ray far-ultraviolet (FUV) observations. differential emission measure distribution (DEM) was constructed flaring quiescent periods analysing optically thin FUV lines. Four observations were conducted LETGS instrument board Chandra Observatory four carried out using Hubble STIS spectrograph. From light curves, we determined variation count rate factor two within 20\% rotation period. To obtain DEM, 18 lines analysed (12 six FUV). flare fluxes differ quiescence factors 4-20 1-30 (X-ray). corona both state fitting DEM(T) with Chebyshev polynomials range $\log$T = 4.25 - 8. Compared quiescence, increases during flares temperatures below 0.3\,MK (FUV dominated region) beyond 3.6\,MK (X-ray region). reconstructed DEM shape provides acceptable line flux predictions compared measured values. provide synthetic spectra at 1-1700 \AA, which may considered as representative high-energy irradiation Proxima~Cen~b periods.

Solar-Like M-Class X-ray Flares on Proxima Centauri Observed by the ASCA Satellite.
Because of instrumental sensitivity limits and stellar distances, the types of x-ray flares observable on stars have been intrinsically much more energetic than those on the sun. Such enormous events are a useful extrapolation of the solar phenomenon if the underlying assumption is correct that they form a continuous sequence involving similar physical processes as on the sun. The Advanced Sate...
متن کاملX-Ray Evidence for Flare Density Variations and Continual Chromospheric Evaporation in Proxima Centauri
Using the XMM-Newton X-ray observatory to monitor the nearest star to the Sun, Proxima Centauri, we recorded the weakest X-ray flares on a magnetically active star ever observed. Correlated X-ray and optical variability provide strong support for coronal energy and mass supply by a nearly continuous sequence of rapid explosive energy releases. Variable emission line fluxes were observed in the ...
متن کاملOn the habitability of exoplanets orbiting Proxima Centauri
We apply...
متن کاملCalculations of periodicity from Hα profiles of Proxima Centauri
In this report the stellar rotation signal for Proxima Centauri is investigated. High-resolution spectra taken with UVES and HARPS of Proxima Centauri over a 13-year period is used as well as photometric observations of Proxima Centauri from ASAS and HST. The Hα equivalent width and Hα index are measured (and found to be very similar), together with other measurements, skewness and kurtosis and...
