چکیده

It is challenging to estimate how the regional climate will be shifted under future global warming. To reduce potential risk of shift climates, examining change in features over Asia important, as approximately 60% world's population resides there. In this study, shifts are assessed Asian monsoon region mean temperature warming targets from 1.5°C 5.0°C above preindustrial (PI) levels based on different shared socioeconomic pathway (SSP) scenarios. Global impacts individual variables, and consequently, it across region. Temperature patterns more dominant contributors spatial extent magnitude than precipitation patterns. Changes climates show behaviors according degree rather type SSP scenario. Climate intensified a higher level that PI levels. The largest shown SSP5-8.5 scenario, especially current polar zones. Future zone can differ. Regions with tropical arid likely expanded, whereas some regions warm temperate cold shrink conditions. Therefore, study supports necessity mitigating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions establishing an adaptation plan for

Ocean Global Warming Impacts on the South America Climate

The global Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Model (OLAM) model was used to estimate the impacts of the global oceanic warming on the climate projections for the 21st Century focusing on the South America region. This new model is able to represent simultaneously the global and regional scales using a refining grid approach for the region of interest. First, the model was run for a 31-year control period c...

Comparative Study on the Land-cover Change and Global Warming Impacts on Regional Climate in Northeast Asia

Mongolia is situated in an arid/semi-arid zone in Northeast Asia. The southern part of the territory has a desert type climate. The thermal effect of the Tibetan Plateau is the principle reason for the desert climate, remotely suppressing convective systems in the arid region (Sato and Kimura, 2005a). On the other hand, Taiga forest covers the northern part of Mongolia, extending to Siberia in ...
