چکیده
Small-sided games (SSGs) are a motivational strategy and effective training method to develop skills physical fitness at optimal intensity. This study investigates the influence of variability in number players on physiological response using SSGs. The sample was composed 10 field with an average age 15.9 ± 0.50 years old. Three sessions were held 3 different days collect information. min SSG exercise temporal numerical repeated twice each day. ratio involved changed every 2 without disrupting practice. In game space 35 × 25 m, always started situation vs. 3. External load metrics (i.e., activity counts, intensity, energy expenditure) assessed Actigraph WGT3X accelerometers. format had higher counts vector magnitude) requested more time spent very vigorous Consequently, young football expenditure METs) than that other studied formats. confirms SSGs external load.

Physiology of small-sided games training in football: a systematic review.
Small-sided games (SSGs) are played on reduced pitch areas, often using modified rules and involving a smaller number of players than traditional football. These games are less structured than traditional fitness training methods but are very popular training drills for players of all ages and levels. At present, there is relatively little information regarding how SSGs can best be used to impr...
متن کاملEffect of Court Dimensions on Players' External and Internal Load during Small-Sided Handball Games.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of three different court dimensions on the internal and external load during small-sided handball games. Six male amateur handball players took part in this study and participated in three different 8-min 3vs3 (plus goalkeepers) small-sided handball games (each repeated twice). The three court dimensions were 12×24m, 30×15m and 32×16m. Through...

متن کاملNormal Variability of Weekly Musculoskeletal Screening Scores and the Influence of Training Load across an Australian Football League Season
Aim: The sit and reach test (S&R), dorsiflexion lunge test (DLT), and adductor squeeze test (AST) are commonly used in weekly musculoskeletal screening for athlete monitoring and injury prevention purposes. The aim of this study was to determine the normal week to week variability of the test scores, individual differences in variability, and the effects of training load on the scores. Methods:...
