The influence of soft clay saturation characteristics on unconfined compressive strength in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

چکیده
In order to study the influence of saturated characteristics soft clay on unconfined compressive strength, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area is taken as research object, comparing and contrasting compression test unsaturated in laboratory, studying variation law strength sensitivity clay. The results show that: 1. During failure samples, oblique fractures appear, showing brittle shear failure, while samples appear constant bulging middle, finally a “cross” broken central part, plastic failure.2. about 10kPa higher than that clay, its corresponding also 0.4 higher. It can be shown soil saturation has certain strength. difference between existence gas phase. To more precise, phase soil, i.e. suction, makes stronger presents form, basically form.
