THE PERSPECTIVES OF UROZGAN INSTITUTE OF HIGHER EDUCATION LECTURERS TOWARD HELMS ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING

This study investigates to find out the attitudes of Urozgan institute higher education lecturers about Higher Education Learning and Management System (HELMS). The data was collected from 19 (masters bachelors) in survey design. overall number lecturer this are forty (only males); nineteen (19) them enrolled chosen as random sampling. has been using a questionnaire consisting numerous closed-ended open-ended questions. language Pashto, native participants; later, results were translated English. Furthermore, analyzed Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) program frequency percentage items. finding suggests that have negative feelings HELMS system. They believed system unsuitable Afghanistan's public universities. participants added technical errors, low internet connections, complexities with portals main barriers also suggested needs high-quality connection cost. Besides, stated several common alternative programs instead HELMS, such as; WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, Zoom meetings, Google classrooms, which motivate policy makers consider.
