The Role of Government Financial Support Programmes, Risk-Taking Propensity, and Self-Confidence on Propensity in Business Ventures

This study identifies the effect of government financial support services (GFSS) on relationship between two dimensions psychological factors in business ventures. As such, uses small and medium enterprises (SMEs) various Malaysian sectors as samples, with constructs used to represent factors, namely, risk-taking (RT) propensity self-confidence (SC). The results revealed that both had a significant influence venture into (PVB). However, GFSS an insignificant moderating provided input for policy makers enhance efficiency order positively affect growth rate new businesses Malaysia. Hence, this bridged research gap by identifying PVB. are important tool stimulating venture, findings have implications improve quality effectiveness, especially delivery targeted group.
