The Two Stage Moisture Diffusion Model for Non-Fickian Behaviors of 3D Woven Composite Exposed Based on Time Fractional Diffusion Equation

The moisture diffusion behaviors of 3D woven composites exhibit non-Fickian properties when they are exposed to a hydrothermal environment. Although some experimental works have been undertaken investigate this phenomenon, very few mathematical on predictions available in the literature. To capture behavior composites, study first utilized time fractional equation derive percentage content homogeneous material under conditions. A two-stage model was subsequently developed based mechanics both neat resin and which describes initial fast long-term slow stages. Notably, incorporated order parameters account for nonlinear property composites. Finally, weight gain curves composite were calculated verify model, predicted uptake all good agreement with results. It is important note that parameter α < 1, will become larger later down process. This phenomenon can better describe caused by voids or complicated structures.
