Thermal and breathability management of microencapsulated phase change material (MPCM) incorporated jute fabric

Jute bags are widely used to carry food grains and other materials that may be prone quality deterioration due thermal fluctuation. Thermal moisture properties play a significant role in the packaging form of container. This study deals with effect microencapsulated phase change material (MPCM) hydrophobic binder on management jute fabric. fabric was treated MPCM by pad-dry-cure method. The sample characterized thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning colorimeter (DSC), electron microscope (SEM), tester (MMT), air permeability tester. results revealed shows greater stability heat absorption ability 10.58 J/g while changing from solid liquid phase. SEM image ensures even distribution MPCMs surface roughness also observed using processing software. found decrease whereas water repellency enhanced developed sample.
