چکیده
Tillage practices can regulate soil environmental factors and, thus, affect crop yield. Farmers’ acceptance of this is not high because a lack awareness, in the dryland farming region Longdong Loess Plateau China, due to established use no-till operation. It urgent explore suitable tillage for maize (Zea mays L., Longdan No.8) planting area. The impact on water content, temperature, field consumption structure, yield, and efficiency (WUE) was determined. Six were implemented 2021 their effects determined 2022, including conventional with no straw (T), incorporated (TS), subsoiling (SST), (SSTS), no-tillage (NT) mulching (NTS). Over two years, compared T, volumetric content (SWv) SSTS significantly increased 5–10 cm layer at V12 (big flare stage maize) 2022. reduced temperature (ST) 20 25 depths stage, every R2 (grain-filling stage. evaporation during growing season (Ec), transpiration (Tc) when T. Compared SST biomass yield (BY), by 29.7–32.1 41.2–53.5%, respectively, grain number per ear 6.3–16.5 10.4–38.8%, improved (GY) 4.9–6.9 6.2–13.7%, respectively; WUE 5.5–15.4%. correlation between highly significant; ST had significant positive ear, GY, BY. Therefore, moisture optimized effective utilization water, resulting accumulation higher ears, obtaining efficiency. practice dry area Plateau, China.

Maize (Zea mays L.).
Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation is an effective method for introducing genes into maize. In this chapter, we describe a detailed protocol for genetic transformation of the maize genotype Hi II. Our starting plant material is immature embryos cocultivated with an Agrobacterium strain carrying a standard binary vector. In addition to step-by-step laboratory transformation proced...

introduction due to the development of sustainable agriculture and the reduction of utilizing chemical fertilizers, it is essential to use organic fertilizer. organic matter is vital to soil fertility and its productivity. to maintain the level of fertility and the strength of soil, organic matter levels should be maintained at an appropriate level. unfortunately, the level of organic matter in...

Effects of six tillage practices on some soil microbiological properties and crop yields were evaluated for a clay soil (Typic Haploxererts) under semi-arid Mediterranean conditions in a three year study (2006-2009). The experiment was designed as a completely randomized-block with three replications. Treatments were: conventional tillage with residue incorporated (CT1), conventional tillage wi...
متن کاملSoil Tillage Management Affects Maize Grain Yield by Regulating Spatial Distribution Coordination of Roots, Soil Moisture and Nitrogen Status
The spatial distribution of the root system through the soil profile has an impact on moisture and nutrient uptake by plants, affecting growth and productivity. The spatial distribution of the roots, soil moisture, and fertility are affected by tillage practices. The combination of high soil density and the presence of a soil plow pan typically impede the growth of maize (Zea mays L.).We invest...
