The paper presents an iterative procedure for the time domain deconvolution in nonlinear elastoplastic materials. approach is intended generation of input motions dynamic soil–structure interaction (DSSI) numerical analyses when desired earthquake specified at surface a soil deposit. main advantage that same constitutive model (or models) to be used DSSI simulation characterise deposit also employed procedure. Therefore, motion recovered from free-field propagation resulting base model, accounting assumed behaviour ground. An application example presented, where potential proposed shown.
