Transactive Energy Sharing in a Microgrid via an Enhanced Distributed Adaptive Robust Optimization Approach

The rapid growth of microgrids with various distributed energy resources (DERs) brings new opportunities for local sharing in the microgrids. However, uncertainties renewable generation and loads pose a great technical challenge microgrid operator (MGO). Thus, this paper proposes transactive (TES) approach MGO DER aggregators to minimize total social cost, considering network operating constraints. Accordingly, two-settlement (TE) market an incentive pricing scheme is developed encourage participation sharing. Besides, real-time transactions are considered day-ahead optimization stage address their negative impacts on operation. To solve proposed TES problem, alternating direction method multipliers (ADMM) applied. each ADMM problem further addressed by adaptive robust (ARO) solved column-and-constraint (C&CG) algorithm. updated dual coupling variables at iteration could interact C&CG algorithm, impairing convergence. issue, uncertainty-update procedure developed. simulation results verify high efficiency solution robustness method.
