Transforming Gifted Education in Schools: Practical Applications of a Comprehensive Framework for Developing Academic Talent

The foundation for talent development as a framework gifted education can be found in synthesis of the psychological literature on creativity, eminence, giftedness, and high performance. acknowledges contributions both general cognitive ability domain-specific abilities to achievement, well malleability these constructs. Talent is also consistent with research non-cognitive or psychosocial factors school studies that influence attainment scholarly productivity artistry within specific domains non-academic talent. Although there are several theoretical frameworks models development, ability, intelligence, each varied areas emphasis desired outcomes, base practical applications megamodel (TDMM) serve guide leaders administrators making fiscal programmatic decisions maximize short- long-term impacts individuals society.
