Trend Analysis of Annual and Seasonal River Runoff by Using Innovative Trend Analysis with Significant Test

This study investigated the temporal patterns of annual and seasonal river runoff data at 13 hydrological stations in Lake Issyk-Kul basin, Central Asia. The trends were analyzed using innovative trend analysis (ITA) method with significance testing. ITA results compared Mann-Kendall (MK) test a 95% confidence level. comparison revealed that could effectively identify detected by MK test. Specifically, found time series percentage decreased from 46.15% north to 25.64% south, while similar rate decrease, 39.2% 29.4%. According distribution test, significantly increasing (decreasing) observed 5 (0), 6 (2), 4 (3), 8 (1) annual, spring, summer, autumn, winter data. At same time, significant 7 (1), 9 6(3), (2) area. As for method, “peak” values 24 (26.97%) exhibited patterns, 25 (28.09%) displayed “low” values, 40 (44.94%) showed “medium” values. “low”, “medium”, five (33.33%), seven (46.67%), three (20%) manifested decreasing trends, respectively.
