Tri-Rotor Propeller Design Concept, Optimization and Analysis of the Lift Efficiency During Hovering

Abstract This study introduces the simulation of a tri-rotor contra-rotating propeller for thrust force and hover lift efficiency during vertical take-off. Vertical take-off or landing is method used by many aircraft makes vehicle more convenient easier to use. The second rotor revolved in opposite direction first third rotors. proposed multi-rotor system has NACA 0012 untwisted symmetric airfoil includes three rotors with two blades each. airflow analysis was optimized computational fluid dynamics using different pitch combinations achieve highest sufficient overall value. critical angle attack chosen gave boundary conditions results showed us that most efficient work better an increase from top bottom so there difference at least degrees between propellers.
