Tunable All-optical System for Time-to-Frequency Mapping by Parabolic Cross-phase Modulation in the Spectral Fraunhofer Regime

According to the new condition of pump peak power, we report a developed approach achieve time-frequency mapping (TFM) in spectral Fraunhofer regime by single all-optical time lens using parabolic cross-phase modulation (XPM). The is obtained combining far-field with ability pulses induce pure quadratic phase modulation. derived allows tunability different strategies when probe durations are targeted. For design requirements, show complete family bright and dark pulses, which can be implemented depending on shape probe. In order overcome limits TFM, demonstrate as solution so-called near-field TFM for narrowband mapping. We also discuss potential applications variety fields provide more insight into approach.
