Unveiling Laser Radiation of Multiple Optical Solitons by Nonlinear Fourier Transform

Mode-locked fiber lasers are applied in versatile scientific fields and exhibit a rich diversity of nonlinear dynamics. However, the nontrivial coexistence solitons embedded dispersive wave radiation prevents unveiling real dynamics mode-locked lasers, such as multiple interaction. Here, Fourier transform (NFT) is signal processing tool to reveal nonequilibrium soliton It feasible isolate from continuous background laser. The real-time coherent homodyne detection methodology used measure full-field dynamic evolution solitons, including buildup sequentially with complex splitting, drifting, collision processes. With approach inverse NFT, corresponding various pure reconstructed. eigenvalue probability distributions classify different lasing regimes. Moreover, controllable drifting achieved characterized by using all-optical methods. Experimental results suggest that NFT can be identify localized excluding influence, which provides new window into physics underlying laser uncovers interaction dissipative systems.
