چکیده
Abstract Background Lupus nephritis can be seen in up to 60% of all SLE patients with 10–15% progressing end-stage renal disease; late diagnosis lupus is correlated a higher frequency insufficiency. The study aim determination the value urinary human epidermal growth factor (urinary EGF) as an early biomarker and its relevance disease activity histopathology. Results included 58 30 healthy controls; significant difference was noticed between controls protein, creatinine, protein/creatinine ratio, EGF. mean level EGF less classes IV V than I, II, III. There (33±29, 27±16, P = 0.04) class II III nephritis, no differences SLEDAI. On other hand, comparison showed not only 11.7±4.9 m, =0.003), but also SLEDAI (37.4±8, 70.5±27, 0.007), ratio (0.98±0.62, 3±1.8, =0.006). Conclusion This raises attention test sensitivity detecting subsequent changes pathology easy, non-invasive, accurate, cheap marker that could help following progression adjusting plan treatment; also, it used guide time biopsy or alternative cases where contraindicated.

Association of Urinary Lipocalin-2 with Lupus Nephritis
Objective(s): Lupus nephritis (LN) is the main cause of mortality and disability in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients. Therefore, utilizing a reliable and non-invasive method for serial measurements of renal function seems to be necessary. The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of urinary lipocalin-2 as a biomarker of renal involvement in SLE patients. Materi...

OBJECTIVE This study is designed to observe the urinary tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis (TWEAK) levels in patients with lupus nephritis (LN) and to identify new biomarker of lupus nephritis activity. METHODS Study subjects were 46 cases of patients with LN (including 34 of active cases) who underwent routine renal biopsy. Activity and chronicity indexes of LN were assesse...
متن کاملUsefulness of complement split product, Bb, as a clinical marker for disease activity of lupus nephritis.
To evaluate the usefulness of Bb, a split product of complement factor B, as a clinical marker for disease activity of lupus nephritis, we measured the Bb concentration of sera from 42 patients with lupus nephritis. Serum Bb levels were significantly higher in patients with active nephritis (active nephritis group, n= 30) than in patients with nephritis in remission (remission group, n=12) (14....
