USING THE MINECRAFT: EDUCATION EDITION PLATFORM IN INFORMATICS LESSONS

The article discusses the capabilities of Minecraft: Education Edition (Minecraft EDU) platform, built on ideas gamification, to motivate schoolchildren study informatics. It describes how work with platform (creating an account, importing worlds, creating programs); basic concepts associated platform; approximate planning lessons thematic section "Algorithmics" for sixth grade; general idea in classroom using platform. materials two are presented detail: first is focused acquainting students Minecraft EDU, rules and tools this second compose linear programs, acquaintance such informatics as "algorithm", "executor", "system commands executor". For each lessons, game world, specially prepared by teacher, described detail. results obtained author when testing these formulated.
