Value sensitive design as a formative framework

Abstract In this article, we first offer a model of design knowledge types (know-about, know-that, know-how) and their interrelationships in value sensitive design. Then demonstrate that is formative framework, which provides shaping influence on practice, enables creative appropriation, supports theory method development.
