چکیده
Atom is the smallest component of a chemical element that cannot be changed chemically. The concept atom was put forward by several scientists, one which Rutherford. From results Rutherford's experiment, it known most alpha particles fired at thin gold plate are transmitted or scattered with small scattering angle. In this study, effect incident energy (E) on cross section (σ) and angle (Θ) will simulated using Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB). Based research has been done, can concluded in Rutherford scattering, greater angle, smaller section. This shown graph generated (MATLAB) simulation form decreasing exponential graph.
