Vulnerability Analysis of Geographical Railway Network under Geological Hazard in China

As the passenger railway network is expanding and improving, internal connections interdependence in are rising. Once a sudden geological hazard occurs damages structure, train service prone to large-scale halt or delay. A geographical modeled analyze spatial distribution characteristics of as well its vulnerability under typical hazards, such earthquakes, collapses, landslides debris flows. First, this paper China based on complex method analyzed network. Then, data hazards along that occurred over years were crawled through Internet construct database time–space characteristics. Finally, results susceptibility was evaluated. Among these greatest impact safety operation came from earthquakes (48%), followed by (28%), flows (17%) collapses (7%). About 30% lines exposed areas. The most vulnerable included Sichuan–Guizhou Railway, Chengdu–Kunming Railway Chengdu–Guiyang high-speed Southwest China, Lanzhou–Urumqi Southern Xinjiang Northwest Beijing–Harbin Harbin–Manzhouli Northeast China. Therefore, professional rescue materials should be arranged at key stations above sections, with view improving capability respond hazards.
