The recycling of used refractory materials in the heavy industry constitutes one significant environmental problems related to and financial issues. This study proposes a multicriteria methodological frame characterize material waste identify capabilities. Considering chemical physical analysis wastes, proposed progresses into two-phase procedure. first phase includes an on/off approach that allows discretizing wastes compatible or not as far their prospects. Then, additive value model is utilized, including (a) marginal functions for every criterion critical factors, (b) weight vector reflecting relative importance criteria used. A group experts concerning environment was employed estimate model. assessment function achieved using module Multicriteria Interactive Intelligence Decision Aiding System (MIIDAS), which based on modification mid-value split point technique incorporating focused dialogues, artificial intelligence, visual techniques. assessed through prioritization method (WAP), concludes with estimation weights ranking pairwise expression strength preferences consecutive according ranking. outcome this introduce appropriateness index composition judgement expert group. main findings research may be useful engineers, decision-makers, scientists field circular economy management.
