Water Flows and Water Accumulations on Bedrock as a Structuring Element of Rock Art

Abstract The paper proposes a new method to quantify the flow of water and accumulation zones on bedrock panels. This can be used investigate how influences placement rock art. analysis is based photogrammetric models which flows accumulations were modelled using NetLogo simulation SAGA hydrology package. To test hypothesis that was structuring element in creation art, case studies Bohus-granite panels from south-western Sweden used. described approach should possible use most art placed regardless type, its state cleaning, or present microfauna. modelling powerful tool compare image density relation even widely separated such observations cannot made directly.
