Waveguide invariant estimation based on correlation coefficient of tonal acoustic intensity interference fluctuation

چکیده
The waveguide invariant is usually not extracted from the striation pattern of broadband continuous spectrum in low frequency analysis and recording at signal-to-noise ratio. In this paper, correlation coefficient multi-tonal acoustic intensity interference fluctuation utilized to estimate invariant. Since proportional relationship between reference scaled dependent on invariant, estimation can be done. Firstly, tonal has been resampled new time domain under radial non-radial motion models respectively. Then, similarity degree resampling scaling described by coefficient, peak corresponding true value. Finally, numerical results experimental prove proposed method's effectiveness.

Measurement of complex acoustic intensity in an acoustic waveguide.
Acoustic intensity is normally treated as a real quantity, but in recent years, many articles have appeared in which intensity is treated as a complex quantity where the real (active) part is related to local mean energy flow and the imaginary (reactive) part to local oscillatory transport of energy. This offers the potential to recover additional information about a sound field and then to rel...
متن کاملResponse to "The physics of ghost imaging - nonlocal interference or local intensity fluctuation correlation?"
Shih has objected to the semiclassical explanation for lensless pseudothermal ghost imaging—whose measurement configuration is shown schematically in Fig. 8 of [1]—that is reviewed by Shapiro and Boyd. In Shih’s view, the only valid explanation for lensless pseudothermal ghost imaging is nonlocal two-photon interference, i.e., a purely quantum phenomenon. Shapiro and Boyd also develop that expl...
متن کاملEstimation of the simple correlation coefficient.
This article investigates some unfamiliar properties of the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient for the estimation of simple correlation coefficient. Although Pearson's r is biased, except for limited situations, and the minimum variance unbiased estimator has been proposed in the literature, researchers routinely employ the sample correlation coefficient in their practical applicati...
متن کاملIntensity invariant complex encoded color correlation.
Optical correlation has traditionally processed monochromatic gray-scale images. This paper develops a new encoding mechanism that uses the chromaticity of the input signal. It is then not only possible to detect different colored objects, but the system is also invariant to changes in the brightness of the lighting, including variations across the object.
