Whistler turbulence vs. whistler anisotropy instability: Particle-in-cell simulation and statistical analysis

Particle-in-Cell simulations and statistical analysis are carried out to study the dynamic evolution of a collisionless, magnetized plasma with co-existing whistler turbulence electron temperature anisotropy as initial condition, competing consequences cascade instability growth. The results show that operation within has almost no effects on fluctuating magnetic field energy intermittency generated by turbulence. However, it leads small reduction wavevector major anisotropy. Hence, while overall effect from is minor compared due its much smaller energy, may act regulation mechanism for kinetic-range through wave-particle interactions.
