X-ray-Induced Heating in the Vicinity of the X-ray Interaction Point

When X-rays pass through a material, radiation damage occurs, and heat is generated at the X-ray interaction point, which can then be transferred around irradiation site. This X-ray-induced transfer affect temperature of sample consequently experimental environment in serial crystallography (SX) experiments. Here, we investigated measured level heating vicinity point. In our setup, when water, crystallization solution, crystal suspension glass tube were exposed to X-rays, increase approximately 1.0 °C occurred with by both capillary. Cu Al/Zn plates exposure point increased 0.3 0.4 °C, respectively. The range rise decreased as distance from on Al plate increased. could reduced discontinuously transmitting using shutter. Our results provide useful information for obtaining more accurate parameters.
