چکیده
Homodyne optical phase-locked loop (OPLL) is one kind of PLLs applied in field to achieve phase locking between two signals. Although there are already some software emulation and s-domain modeling methods studied for homodyne OPLL, few studies about z-domain model OPLL reported. For digital OPLL(DOPLL), the performance DOPLL can be analyzed more accurately by model. So a methodology proposed letter. In methodology, related components analog converter (ADC) treated as group. Then with formula transformation, built successfully. Finally, case study given, several simulations Simulink behavioral made same design parameters. These simulation results agree very well verify correctness

High Speed Delay-Locked Loop for Multiple Clock Phase Generation
In this paper, a high speed delay-locked loop (DLL) architecture ispresented which can be employed in high frequency applications. In order to design the new architecture, a new mixed structure is presented for phase detector (PD) and charge pump (CP) which canbe triggered by double edges of the input signals. In addition, the blind zone is removed due to the elimination of reset signal. Theref...
متن کاملExtended Kalman Filtering and Phase Detector Modeling for a Digital Phase-Locked Loop
The realization of a digital phase-locked loop (DPLL) requires to choose a suitable phase detector and to design an appropriate loop filter; these tasks are commonly nontrivial in most applications. In this paper, the phase detector is examined, and a simple model is given to describe the characteristics of the timing function. The DPLL system is then formulated as a state estimation problem; t...
متن کاملIntroduction to phase-locked loop system modeling
Introduction Phase-locked loops (PLLs) are one of the basic building blocks in modern electronic systems. They have been widely used in communications, multimedia and many other applications. The theory and mathematical models used to describe PLLs are of two types: linear and nonlinear. Nonlinear theory is often complicated and difficult to deal with in real-world designs. Analog PLLs have bee...
متن کاملFuzzy logic for digital phase-locked loop filter design
The problem of robust phase-locked loop design has attracted attention for many years, particularly since the advent of the global positioning system. This paper proposes and demonstrates the use of a fuzzy PLL to estimate the time-varying phase of a sinusoidal signal. It is shown via simulation results that fuzzy PLL's offer performance comparable to analytically derived PLL's (e.g. Kalman fil...
متن کاملPhase - locked Loop Digital FM Receiver for Wireless
We investigate a non-coherent detection technique based on phase-locked loop (PLL) for wireless communication applications, with an emphasis on Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephone (DECT) system. Performance of the PLL receiver in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN)'and interference-limited environments is simulated and compared to that of the "traditional" non-coherent receivers: limiter-discr...
