Sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that: Explaining unachievable robot tasks using natural language Report Title This paper addresses the challenge of enabling non-expert users to command robots to perform complex highlevel tasks using natural language. It describes an integrated system that combines the power of formal methods with the accessibility of natural language, providing correct-by-construction controllers for high-level specifications that can be implemented, and easy-to-understand feedback to the user on those that cannot be achieved. This is among the first works to close this feedback loop, enabling users to interact with the robot in order to identify a succinct cause of failure and obtain the desired controller. The supported language and logical capabilities are illustrated using examples involving a robot assistant in a hospital. Dual Channel Transmission for Coexistence of Wireless Networks
With the upcoming pervasive deployment of wireless networks and devices on the unlicensed band, co-channel interference caused by frequency collisions among coexisting networks have become one of the major performance limiting challenges. In recent years the coexistence issue has gained increasing attention. However, many collision avoidance schemes are not applicable to multiple frequency hopp...

متن کاملEmergence of resistance in staphylococci after long-term mupirocin application in patients on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis.
In the present study, we evaluated the effects of once-weekly mupirocin application to catheter exit sites on Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase-negative staphylococcus (CNS) colonization and investigated the resistance of those bacteria to methicillin (MeR) and mupirocin (MuR). We enrolled 36 continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) patients (mean age: 55.1 +/- 1.4 years) into the stu...

متن کاملDAMD 17 - 02 - 1 - 0216 TITLE : EGFR - Dependent Regulation of Matrix - Independent Epithelial Cell Survival
Previous studies addressing functional aspects of nuclear factor KB (NF-KB) activation in normal and transformed keratinocytes revealed complex and seemingly contradictory roles of this transcription factor in this cell type. In normal skin, NF-KB signaling seems to inhibit squamous cell carcinoma development whereas, in squamous cell carcinoma themselves, deregulated NF-KB expression and/or si...
