چکیده

Application conditions for rules and constraints for graphs are well-known in the theory of graph transformation and have been extended already toM-adhesive transformation systems. According to the literature we distinguish between two kinds of satisfaction for constraints, called general and initial satisfaction of constraints, where initial satisfaction is defined for constraints over an initial object of the base category. Unfortunately, the standard definition of general satisfaction is not compatible with negation in contrast to initial satisfaction. Based on the well-known restriction of objects along type morphisms, we study in this paper restriction and amalgamation of application conditions and constraints together with their solutions. In our main result, we show compatibility of initial satisfaction for positive constraints with restriction and amalgamation, while general satisfaction fails in general. Our main result is based on the compatibility of composition via pushouts with restriction, which is ensured by the horizontal van Kampen property in addition to the vertical one that is generally satisfied inM-adhesive categories.

Multi-Amalgamation in Adhesive Categories

Amalgamation is a well-known concept for graph transformations in order to model synchronized parallelism of rules with shared subrules and corresponding transformations. This concept is especially important for an adequate formalization of the operational semantics of statecharts and other visual modeling languages, where typed attributed graphs are used for multiple rules with general applica...

A Generalized Framework for Constraint Planning1

Constraint hierarchies have been proposed to solve over-constrained systems of constraints by specifying constraints with hierarchical preferences. They are widely used in HCLP, CIP and graphical user interfaces. A declarative expression of preferred constraints and the existence of efficient satisfaction algorithms are the advantages of constraint hierarchies. At present, there exists a lot of...

Perspective of MAS in Power System via a Fuzzy Framework

Multi agent systems (MAS) are popularly used in practice, however; a few studies have looked at MAS capabilities from the power engineering perspective. This paper presents the results of an investigation concerning the compatibility of MAS capabilities in different power engineering categories. Five MAS capabilities and seven power system categories are established. A framework for applying MA...
