Episodic associative memories taught by evolutionary algorithm
نویسنده
چکیده
The paper analyses possibilities of episodic multi-winner multi-directional associative memory taught by evolutionary algorithm. This kind of memory allows to store and recall more complex associations, like episode-to-episode.

Neural mechanisms supporting the extraction of general knowledge across episodic memories
General knowledge acquisition entails the extraction of statistical regularities from the environment. At high levels of complexity, this may involve the extraction, and consolidation, of associative regularities across event memories. The underlying neural mechanisms would likely involve a hippocampo-neocortical dialog, as proposed previously for system-level consolidation. To test these hypot...
متن کاملReduction in Cache Memory Power Consumption based on Replacement Quantity
Today power consumption is considered to be one of the important issues. Therefore, its reduction plays a considerable role in developing systems. Previous studies have shown that approximately 50% of total power consumption is used in cache memories. There is a direct relationship between power consumption and replacement quantity made in cache. The less the number of replacements is, the less...

متن کاملRapid Formation and Flexible Expression of Memories of Subliminal Word Pairs
Our daily experiences are incidentally and rapidly encoded as episodic memories. Episodic memories consist of numerous associations (e.g., who gave what to whom where and when) that can be expressed flexibly in new situations. Key features of episodic memory are speed of encoding, its associative nature, and its representational flexibility. Another defining feature of human episodic memory has...
متن کاملEvolutionary analysis of hierarchically coupled associative memories
Inspired by the theory of neuronal group selection (TNGS), we have carried out an analysis of the capacity of convergence of a multi-level associative memory based on coupled generalized-brain-state-in-a-box (GBSB) networks through evolutionary computation. The TNGS establishes that a memory process can be described as being organized, functionally, in hierarchical levels where higher levels co...
