چکیده

The long-time asymptotics is analyzed for all finite energy solutions to a model U(1)-invariant nonlinear KleinGordon equation in one dimension, with the nonlinearity concentrated at a single point: each finite energy solution converges as t →±∞ to the set of all “nonlinear eigenfunctions” of the form ψ(x)e−iωt . The global attraction is caused by the nonlinear energy transfer from lower harmonics to the continuous spectrum and subsequent dispersive radiation. We justify this mechanism by the following novel strategy based on inflation of spectrum by the nonlinearity. We show that any omega-limit trajectory has the time-spectrum in the spectral gap [−m,m] and satisfies the original equation. This equation implies the key spectral inclusion for spectrum of the nonlinear term. Then the application of the Titchmarsh Convolution Theorem reduces the spectrum of each omega-limit trajectory to a single harmonic ω ∈ [−m,m]. The research is inspired by Bohr’s postulate on quantum transitions and Schrödinger’s identification of the quantum stationary states to the nonlinear eigenfunctions of the coupled U(1)-invariant Maxwell-Schrödinger and Maxwell-Dirac equations.

Applications of He’s Variational Principle method and the Kudryashov method to nonlinear time-fractional differential equations

In this paper, we establish exact solutions for the time-fractional Klein-Gordon equation, and the time-fractional Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV system. The He’s semi-inverse and the Kudryashov methods are used to construct exact solutions of these equations. We apply He’s semi-inverse method to establish a variational theory for the time-fractional Klein-Gordon equation, and the time-fractiona...

On global attraction to solitary waves for the Klein-Gordon field coupled to several nonlinear oscillators

The global attraction is established for all finite energy solutions to a model U(1)-invariant nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation in one dimension coupled to a finite number of nonlinear oscillators: We prove that each finite energy solution converges as t → ±∞ to the set of all “nonlinear eigenfunctions” of the form φ(x)e−iωt if all oscillators are strictly nonlinear, and the distances between al...

SOLVING NONLINEAR KLEIN-GORDON EQUATION WITH A QUADRATIC NONLINEAR TERM USING HOMOTOPY ANALYSIS METHOD

In this paper, nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation with quadratic term is solved by means of an analytic technique, namely the Homotopy analysis method (HAM).Comparisons are made between the Adomian decomposition method (ADM), the exact solution and homotopy analysis method. The results reveal that the proposed method is very effective and simple.

Exact Solution for Nonlinear Local Fractional Partial Differential Equations

In this work, we extend the existing local fractional Sumudu decomposition method to solve the nonlinear local fractional partial differential equations. Then, we apply this new algorithm to resolve the nonlinear local fractional gas dynamics equation and nonlinear local fractional Klein-Gordon equation, so we get the desired non-differentiable exact solutions. The steps to solve the examples a...
