Enterprise Architecture with Togaf ® 9.1 and Archimate ® 2.0

With the appearance of Version 2.0, the ArchiMate standard for enterprise architecture modelling now offers full modelling support throughout the architecture development cycle. It allows for the description and visualization of different architecture domains and their relationships, as well as the motivation behind the architecture, and the implementation projects and migration planning. ArchiMate complements TOGAF, the standard method of The Open Group for developing enterprise architectures. In this paper, we highlight what is new in the new versions of these two standards, and we illustrate how they can be used together to provide an integral approach to enterprise architecture.
