چکیده
We describean automated assay for digoxinthat requiresa 2O0-L sample of serum. Total analysistime is 18 mm. The methodis extremely precise, withwithin-runCVs of 2.6, 1.6, and 4.9%, respectively, at 0.5, 1.5, and 3.5 j of digoxinper liter (n = 20). The lower limitof detectionis 0.2 g of digoxin per liter.For patients’samples, the correlationwith AlA (x) is excellent(r = 0.95; y = O.95x 0.14; standard error = 0.17 1zg/mL).We saw no interferences in samples having high concentrationsof rheumatoidfactors,lipid,bilirubin,or hemoglobin. Cross reactivitywith digoxin analogs and steroidal compounds is similarto that observedby AlA.
