Shape Classification and Characterization of Female Breasts Pre and After Surgery

The scientific knowledge of the Image Processing Laboratory University of Catania lie in the fields of Image Processing, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. This paper summarizes some recently research activities of the research group. Specifically, Section 1 discusses results obtained in Medical Imaging domain. Section 2 presents the research activities related to image and video understanding for industrial applications, whereas Section 3 briefly discusses Cultural Heritage. Finally, the results obtained in the research context ofMultimedia Forensic are presented in Section 4.
