Paleoanthropology and Evolutionary Genetics

چکیده
Bioinformatics is science of biological database management to deal with how to store, access, process genetics information DNA, RNA and Protein etc. Most of researches are depend on DNA, RNA and Protein structure. This paper suggests some new application of bioinformatics in Paleogenetics and Paleoanthropology.

Sixty Years of Modern Human Origins in the American Anthropological Association
We present a review of the history of scientific inquiry into modern human origins, focusing on the role of the American Anthropologist. We begin during the mid–20th century, at the time when the problem of modern human origins was first presented in the American Anthropologist and could first be distinguished from more general questions about human and hominid origins. Next, we discuss the eff...
متن کاملThe evolution of hominin ontogenies.
Since the beginnings of paleoanthropology, immature fossil hominin specimens have marked important but highly contested cornerstones of research. Long deemed as not representative of a fossil species' morphology, immature hominins are now in the center of scientific attention, and an increasing interest in evolutionary developmental questions has made developmental paleoanthropology a vibrant f...
متن کاملQuantitative Comparison of Tree Pairs Resulted from Gene and Protein Phylogenetic Trees for Sulfite Reductase Flavoprotein Alpha-Component and 5S rRNA and Taxonomic Trees in Selected Bacterial Species
Introduction: FAD is the cofactor of FAD-FR protein family. Sulfite reductase flavoprotein alpha-component is one of the main enzymes of this family. Based on applications of this enzyme in biotechnology and industry, it was chosen as the subject of evolutionary studies in 19 specific species. Method: Gene and protein sequences of sulfite reductase flavoprotein alpha-component, 5S rRNA sequence...
متن کاملPaleoanthropology: Homo erectus and the Limits of a Paleontological Species
The bushy nature of the human evolutionary tree in the past 3 million years is widely accepted. Yet, a spectacular new fossil of early Homo has prompted some paleoanthropologists to prune our family tree.
