Spectral Functions of Strongly Interacting Isospin-
نویسنده
چکیده
We study a system of one-dimensional (iso)spin12 bosons in the regime of strong repulsive interactions. We argue that the low-energy spectrum of the system consists of acoustic density waves and the spin excitations described by an effective ferromagnetic spin chain with a small exchange constant J. We use this description to compute the dynamic spin structure factor and the spectral functions of the system.

Isospin Breaking in the Extraction of Isovector and Isoscalar Spectral Functions from e+e− → hadrons
A finite energy sum rule (FESR) analysis of the isospin-breaking vector current correlator 〈0|T ( V 3 μ V 8 ν ) |0〉 is used to determine the isospin-breaking electromagnetic (EM) decay constants of the low-lying vector mesons. These results are used to evaluate the corrections required to extract the flavor diagonal 33 and 88 resonance contributions from the full resonance EM contributions to t...
متن کاملOn spectral radius of strongly connected digraphs
It is known that the directed cycle of order $n$ uniquely achieves the minimum spectral radius among all strongly connected digraphs of order $nge 3$. In this paper, among others, we determine the digraphs which achieve the second, the third and the fourth minimum spectral radii respectively among strongly connected digraphs of order $nge 4$.
متن کاملNew constraint on a strongly interacting Higgs sector.
We show that an integral S over the spectral function of spin-l states of the Higgs sector is constrained by precision weak-interaction measurements. Current data excludes large technicolor models; experiments at LEP and ‘SLC will sooi provide more stringent limits on Higgs strong interactions. متن کاملConfronting Spectral Functions from ee Annihilation and τ Decays: Consequences for the Muon Magnetic Moment
Vacuum polarization integrals involve the vector spectral functions which can be experimentally determined from two sources: (i) e+e− annihilation cross sections and (ii) hadronic τ decays. Recently results with comparable precision have become available from CMD-2 on one side, and ALEPH, CLEO and OPAL on the other. The comparison of the respective spectral functions involves a correction from ...
متن کاملSome Results on Convex Spectral Functions: I
In this paper, we give a fundamental convexity preserving for spectral functions. Indeed, we investigate infimal convolution, Moreau envelope and proximal average for convex spectral functions, and show that this properties are inherited from the properties of its corresponding convex function. This results have many applications in Applied Mathematics such as semi-definite programmings and eng...
