چکیده

As the Internet becomes the critical information infrastructure for both personal and business applications, fast and reliable routing WLAN need to be designed to maintain the performance of those applications in the presence of load balancing. A huge value of wireless technology is based upon the principle of direct point-topoint, semi direct system communication. Some of the useful solutions like Global Standard for Mobile communications (GSM) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) both use an approach where mobile nodes communicate directly to each other with some centralized access point device which assist them for energy and communication. A Wireless local area network (WLAN) links two or more devices using some wireless distribution method and usually providing a connection through an access point to the wider internet. This gives users the mobility to move around within a local coverage area and still be connected to the network. This paper presents a load balancing scheme for congestion avoidance and to improve throughput in the WLAN network. This paper focused on the Load Balancing Scheme that can lead to better throughput and Provide the solution for quality for WLAN network in term of stability against congestion under different mobility environment.

Throughput Maximization in Wireless LAN with Load Balancing Approach and Cell Breathing

Network load is one of the key tests in wireless LANs.This objective is typically achieved when the load of access points is well-adjusted. Recent studies on operational WLANs, shown that AP load is often uneven distribution. To correct such overload, several load balancing schemes have been suggested. These procedures are commonly required proprietary software or hardware at the user side for ...

Cell Breathing for Load Balancing in Wireless Lan

Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) are now commonly available on many academic and corporate Campuses [1]. Load balancing is necessary to improve the network performance. The load may be unevenly distributed across a small number of Access points in the WLAN. In this paper, the load of AP is balanced using load balancing algorithm utilizing Cell breathing technique. Cell breathing is a techni...

Dynamic Load Balance Algorithm (DLBA) for IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN

In an infrastructure wireless LAN, the access point (AP) is responsible for connecting mobile stations (STA) and wired stations. Each access point is assigned on one channel. Traditionally, one station selects AP to connect is based on the received signal strength indicator (RSSI). This approach may cause all active mobile stations to connect to few APs and lots of contentions/collisions will o...

Association Control for Throughput Maximization and Energy Efficiency for Wireless LANs

Because the access points (APs) and the stations (STAs) of a community network are deployed at the users’ desired places, the APs and STAs tend to concentrate in certain areas. A concentration of STAs often results in the AP(s) and STAs in that particular area suffering from severe congestion. On the other hand, a concentration of APs causes energy wastage. A proper association control can effe...

Techniques for Load Balancing in Wireless LAN

This suggests new strategies for balancing load in a wireless network connected in star topology. The loads are assigned to each processor using divisible load theory & Different techniques [II], [III], [IV], and [V]. Divisible load theory suggests that a load can be divided arbitrarily such that each fraction of the load can be independently assigned and computed in any processor present in th...
