چکیده

We study the dynamics of head-on collisions of traveling pulses for a three-component reaction diffusion system. A variety of outputs with large deformation such as annihilation, repulsion, and fusion are observed after collision, however it remains open for a long time that what kind of mathematical structure controls the input-output relation at collision point. A series of works [18, 19, 20, 24] clarify some aspect of scattering dynamics that a network of unstable patterns called scattors forms a backbone of the traffic control of input-output relations. Namely the unstable manifolds of those scattors constitute a network and complicated deformation processes and their transitions are controlled by rewiring those connections depending on parameters. In this article, by employing a three-component reaction diffusion system, we numerically show that there occurs a nested sequence of outputs among annihilation, repulsion, and fusion as parameters are varied in an appropriate way. It turns out that there exists a time-periodic unstable solution that plays a role of scattor and two heteroclinic connections are detected between the unstable periodic solution and other unstable stationary scattors which are responsible for the nested output of periodic type. Dissipative Particle Dynamics simulation hydrated Nafion EW 1200 as fuel cell membrane in nanoscopic scale

The microphase separation of hydrated perfluorinated sulfonic acid membrane Nafion was investigated using Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD). The nafion as a polymer was modelled by connecting coarse grained beads which corresponds to the hydrophobic backbone of polytetrafluoroethylene and perfluorinated side chains terminated by hydrophilic end particles of sulfonic acid groups [1, 2]. Each f...

Finite temperature correlation function of two dissipative massive scalar fields: Thermofield approach

The present paper aims at investigating the manner of two dissipative massive scalar fields. Two massive scalar fields that interact with a reservoir were considered and a reservoir was modeled by continuum Klein-Gordon fields. The Lagrangian of the total system was canonically quantized and the dynamics of the system was determined using the Euler-Lagrange equation. Then, the explicit form of the...

Coupled-Channels Approach for Dissipative Quantum Dynamics in Near-Barrier Collisions

A novel quantum dynamical model based on the dissipative quantum dynamics of open quantum systems is presented. It allows the treatment of both deep-inelastic processes and quantum tunneling (fusion) within a fully quantum mechanical coupled-channels approach. Model calculations show the transition from pure state (coherent) to mixed state (decoherent and dissipative) dynamics during a near-bar...

Dilations‎, ‎models‎, ‎scattering and spectral problems of 1D discrete Hamiltonian systems

In this paper, the maximal dissipative extensions of a symmetric singular 1D discrete Hamiltonian operator with maximal deficiency indices (2,2) (in limit-circle cases at ±∞) and acting in the Hilbert space ℓ_{Ω}²(Z;C²) (Z:={0,±1,±2,...}) are considered. We consider two classes dissipative operators with separated boundary conditions both at -∞ and ∞. For each of these cases we establish a self...
